NAME: Chris Sparrow
D.O.B: 4th June
1988
INSTRUMENT: Bass and gang
vocals
BIO:
My first real music interest was melodic rock, I
would spend hours a day just listening to all my Red
Hot Chili Pepper albums just to awe in amazement at
the talents of Flea. For this he was my main
influence to start playing the bass. I started
playing Bass in late December 1999, and firstly was
not to keen to play after purchasing it; as i knew of
not how to play at all, untill I met Phil
Knight.
He enlightened me and showed me how to 'play a
bass'. I progressed enough until I had the talent to
achieve a very high level in under a year and have
been teaching myself ever since, learning new riffs
and techniques to see me through (my personnal
favourite being Slap Bass).
I was firstly in a few bands (Participation Is
Compulsory) that did not go very well, particulary
because of the lack of expression and confidence
between the group. Then recently me and Brad really
wanted to form a hardcore/metalcore band and after
discovering that Ramsey and Max also liked the same
music styles we told them if they would like to form
the band with us and so our band was formed in the
early September 2003 period.
After thinking of a name we all worked hard together
to make a few songs and get a few warm up gigs. Max,
our old vocalists left due to personnal opinions with
other band members and then soon after we recruited
Rob, Rich and JC to the ranks.
Now with our talents combined we have a great
uniqueness to our sound.
We have been playing whenever posible and due to
massive support from friends and family we are on the
road to underground supremacy with interest from a
few underground labels. Hopefully gaining more
experience as we progress through the years. This is
not the last of us...

FAVOURITE MUSICIANS:
Adrian Stokes (Ex Stampin' Ground Drummer)- A superb
drummer. First experienced him when listening to
'Officer Down' on their 2000 release 'Carved From
Empty Words'. He effortlessly pulls off fast, heavy
hitting drum beats that leave you craving for
more.
Ali (BDF Drummer)- Such a technical drummer,
excellent hand to eye co-ordination and master of
drum fills! Excellent live.
Joe Horvath (CODC Vocalist)- This guy is amazing!
After each album this band has done the vocals just
keep progressing and maturing.
Their latest offering 'Human Harvest' has in my
opinion some of the best vocals known to man! Great
written lyrics as well.
Kurt Ballou (Converge Guitarist)- One of the first
hard hitting bands i got into. Excellent ability and
knowledge from Kurt defines the bands sound. Great
song writer.
Rob McAuslan (Labrat Vocalist)- Another amazing
vocalist. ALthough been through turmoil with the band
before and quitting
and again recently rejoining, the band now have
their definitive sound back, cool guy.
Dallas Taylor (Ex Underoath vocalist)- SO MUCH
POWER! He puts so much energy into his work and live
performances, shame he quit.
FAVOURITE FOOD: Stuffed
Crust Pizza (Any Kind)
